About Legacies of Love Foundation, Inc.

Julie Brown RN is the founder of Legacies of Love Foundation. This not for profit foundation is dedicated to the funding of Care Homes and education and support services for end of life care.

Care Homes are homes that are a refuge for the terminally ill who need: a place of comfort and care so as not to have to go back to the hospital, a place of compassionate care when being home is no longer an option, and crisis medical management (pain control issues, intractable nausea/vomiting, no caregiver, etc.).

Care Homes have a Bed and Breakfast atmosphere that welcomes family participation in the care needs of your loved one.

Level III adult foster care homes can manage many of the problems that the terminally ill face, with the help of a hospice program that is involved with each patient's care. In-patient facilities are Medicare certified and we can bill Medicare for some of the care received in a hospice home.

But the greatest gift the Foundation will provide is that no terminally ill individual is turned away. That all who need a home in their final days will have a home to come to.

Directors representing a diversity of expertise and skills.

The Board of Directors oversees the disbursement of funds that are donated, bequeathed, or acquired through fundraising activities and grants. The foundation is organized under IRS code 501(c) (3).
